Scratching My Head....

Want to become a novelist sometime....but I always wonder what should I start writing about. I have heard and experienced from reading a few of the books that authors are mostly inspired by their own lives. Somehow some interesting events happen in their lives to which they add mirch-masala and present it on the plate garnished for readers to taste and critics to hate.

But nothing interesting has happened my life...as it happens to some great people. Gosh, and sitting at my same desk everyday every month every year will not let anything interesting happen in my life either.

" Two Lives" by Vikram Seth tells the story about his great grandfather who's life was in itself a story - though boring it seems to me sells like hot cakes.

Cannot even think of writing a travel guide as i have not traveled much too.
